Feb 23, 2011 Rudy and his TourByVan was great.Everything about the day went smoothly.Rudy was there at the ship well in advance of docking and took photos of the ship coming in which he sent in an album with other photos he took during the day a week or so after we arrived home
The tour was excellent value for money,the van very clean and cool with iced water,our lunch stop was on the waters edge with great food,reasonably priced
I feel we saw all the attractions we needed to in a day,and felt quite safe from beginning to end.The highlight was probably cliff divers,where Rudy got us prime viewing positions in the hotel
All in all a great day,good value with terrific friendly helpful guides

His background information about each attraction and the personalities involved was fascinating. We stopped for an enjoyable lunch at a restaurant along the beach. His English is very good and not only did he treat us very kindly during our tour, he emailed us pictures that he had taken of our day together. Rudy tailored our tour to suit our interests and provided us with a most memorable day in Acapulco and we would recommend him to everyone.! After checking out the recommendations here we contacted Rudy. He got back to us promptly and we settled on a date and time for a private tour. Jose picked us up on time and off we went to Tehaucalco with enjoyable commentary along the way. Our guide at Tehaucalco didn’t speak English so Jose did the translations. Very interesting site. Feb 16, 2011 When our cruise ship docked in Acapulco for the day, we hired Tour by Van to take us around. Becasye we knew the city from previous visits, so we didn’t go to most of the tourist sites, but instead took a tour to see neighborhoods where locals lived, shopped, and worked. Our guide, Romeo, was knowledgeable and adjusted the tour itinerary on the fly as we thought of things we wanted to see.

One unexpected extra, the company’s manager, Rudy, had taken some pictures of our ship coming into the harbor early that morning which he later sent to us.

Feb 14, 2011 We spent a very nice day with Rudi´s Tourbyvan. Lagoon was really amazing and believe me or not, we stocked a 3 metres long crocodile!!! Rest of the tour was alsou interesting. We visited all famous places in Acapulco (La Quebrada, Los Flamingos etc.) and Jose (our guide and driver) told us lot of interesting facts about Acapulco. Thanks for this great service

A view from the Chapel of Peace
Tres Palos Lagoon We had the pleasure of taking a Tourbyvan excursion on our recent visit to Acapulco. Rudy, as well as our Most Excellent tour guide Romeo, take great pride in their beautiful city and genuinely love showing their visiting guests every feature of the city and it’s surrounding area. Our own tailored excursion included a baby turtle release, Tres Palos lagoon tour, a trip to the Chapel of Peace for some truly unforgettable views, and a tour of Acapulco’s Botanical Gardens… and all of that in one day!!! We loved Romeo and his delightful sense of humor, as he told us of all the details of every place that we visited. When it was time for us to leave Acapulco, Romeo drove 4 of us to the airport in a Tourbyvan van at a very reasonable price. Feb 1, 2011 We cruise a lot as a family but rarely book the day trips with the ship. They are too expensive and often end up feeling crowded. When visiting some towns like Cabo we elected just to walk around by ourselves. This was great. However, Acapulco is huget so we booked a private van. So glad we did. It was the only way we would have got around and our guide was fantastic. Many thanks.

This year, in 2011, I am doing business with Rudy from Tour By Van. It is definitely the best agencie.He does an excellent tour of de city of Acapulco. You see the real Acapulco with him. He is offering also many other guided tours that are all very interesting. Sergio our driver and guide was excellent and went above and beyond the call to please us in every way. When we got home there was an e.mail from Rudy with a customized slide show of our tour.
